Vinted Shoppers Express Anger About Size Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage after an update resulted in items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has updated its size classifications for female and kids' apparel without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Countless users and merchants are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present a different size category versus the original listing as a result of the reclassification.
The platform stated the new system was more in line with comparable marketplaces.
The platform has recommended to examine their items and update the measurements by hand if necessary, which has left users frustrated.
Sizing System Changes
Previously, the sizes had both numerical and alphabetical indicators, like S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was previously a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Shopper Accounts
A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Stephanie Gallen, from Glasgow, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were displaying on the service as size 20–22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they will likely be quite upset," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
A different user, located in England, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial following partial earnings loss," she explained.
Service Background
The platform boasts over 100 million members, with 18 million British users.
It has proved a popular alternative versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance that an unexpected update on the platform has faced criticism: previously, the service retracted a modification regarding delivery choices after backlash from users.
